It was a cold Christmas Eve. Two brothers, Billy and Jimmy, were lying in their trundle beds trying to sleep as butterflies fluttered with excitement in their stomachs.

The Rockford Register Star hosted its second annual “What Rocks’ Awards Gala on Wednesday, November 1st. Miss Illinois, Abby Foster, was on hand to read the winners list. The categories ranged from best day care to best overall company to work for. Field was nominated in 9 categories under the ‘Employers that Rock’ section.

Congratulations to our Chairman, Bill Derry, on being inducted into the Fastener Hall of Fame. We are very proud of you.

Inc. magazine ranked Field 4216 on its 36th annual Inc. 5000, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.

When submitting an RFQ or RFP for fasteners there is a lot to consider. One of the obstacles and most challenging terms when competing for business is “Comparing apples to apples”. Though this might seem as the most effective, efficient and fair way to compare fastener suppliers and find the lowest cost, there are some negative components to consider.

Being an active member of the community has always been part of the Field Culture. Our community has helped us grow, and in return we want to see our community thrive. From helping build homes for Habitat to purchasing gifts for the Mayor’s Annual Toy Drive, Field has been there. See what being an active member of our community means to our Team Members.

In order for us to continue our steady growth, we need to supply our customers with quality products. To do that, we need to develop strong relationships with our supply base.
