Field was named by Trinity Industries® as a Premier Supplier at its annual supplier luncheon on Saturday, April, 22. During the supplier luncheon Trinity recognized suppliers that provided them with exceptional service during 2016. This is Field’s first time winning the Premier Supplier Award from Trinity. Trinity rail is one of the industry’s largest rail car manufacturers.
In the spring of 2016 Field successfully implemented Data Driven Inventory Management Systems throughout several Trinity Rail locations. Field also deployed their best in the industry engineering team to find cost savings and process improvement opportunities at Trinity’s facilities. As part of their value proposition, Field works with their customers to identify ways to improve the design and functionality of the part and the whole fastening process. The Field engineering team generated over $1,000,000 in proactive cost savings for Trinity Rail during the last year.

Currently Field is the top provider of fasteners to the rail car market. Field is active in the railcar associations and has an entire team dedicated to supporting their railcar market initiatives. The railcar market is the largest market Field serves with 20% of Field’s revenue coming from rail in 2016.
