FIELD Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

The world is surely experiencing stressful and challenging times due to the COVID-19 virus. FIELD’s first commitment is for the safety and security of our Team Members, their families, Customers, Suppliers and the communities we operate in.

 

Be assured that we are taking measures to safeguard them during this critical period. We will support all of the recommendations and directions given by local, state, and federal governments. We update our procedures regularly based on the latest information and best ideas from our Team.  We address COVID-19 issues constantly and have implemented a COVID-19 Team to ensure these issues get the highest level of support.  Nothing is more important right now.

We recognize the concern for potential disruptions in the supply chain since FIELD employs a global supply base. We are actively engaged with all suppliers to ensure minimal impact to our customers. Below are some actions we are taking.

1.Redundant global and domestic supply chain sources for continuity of material supply.

2.Continual review of all overseas purchase orders ship status 8 – 9 months in advance of shipping to our customers. This provides adequate time to engage domestic suppliers for fill-in product if needed.

3.Flexible domestic suppliers that provide redundant supply chain options as needed.

If the states we are operating in declare a statewide “shut down”, “shelter in place” or similar action, FIELD will review the State’s specific criteria, and declare as an essential business if possible.  Based on the U.S. Department of Homeland Security guidelines and the guidelines from the State of IL, many of the business sectors we support, including medical, rail and transportation are considered Essential Critical.  Based on this criteria, FIELD will remain operational.  This kind of shut down could negatively impact our supply chain and our ability to get material from our suppliers.

FIELD has a strong history for supporting our customers and in times such as these, our Team is poised to provide world class service and support. Our leadership and team members are ready to support our customers and work with our suppliers.  We will find a way to fulfill requirements.
